ifilm English to start airing popular comedy series ‘Pejman’

Iranian comedy ‘Pejman’ is to be aired on ifilm English TV from Tuesday night.

Iranian series ‘Pejman’ has been scheduled to be aired on ifilm English TV, the website for the channel has reported.

The series, produced by Mohsen Chegini and directed by Soroush Sehhat, will start airing from Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

‘Pejman’ is the hilarious story of Pejman Jamshidi, the former player for Iran’s National Football Team who is now thirty-six years old.

He’s having trouble finding a club to play for and refuses to accept the fact that his football days are over. As he sees his career coming to an end, his friends and even his fiancé leave him.

His extravagant lifestyle comes to an end and his whole life crumbles. Will he let the bad days bring him down or will he finally find his way in life?

Notable among the cast are Pejman Jamshidi, Shaqayeq Dehqan, Sam Derakhshani, Bahareh Rahnama, Houshang Harirchian, Ardeshir Kazemi, Rambod JavanFarhad Ayish, Ashkan KhatibiHouman BarqnavardQolam-Hossein LotfiBehnam Tashakkor, and Bijan Banafshehkhah.

‘Pejman’, made in 2012, will replace ‘Goodbye Child’, which will be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the comedy on the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 25 episodes.
